    3. Judische Grabstatten im Kreis Bad Kreuznach Geschichte und Gestaltung c. 1995 I have just received this book from a friend in Germany. I became interested in and heard about this book after visiting a Jewish cemetery in Altenbamberg, south of Bad Kreuznach, in the Rheinpfalz. (Read my story about this visit, plus what I learned about doing genealogy research in the Pfalz at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jillaine/pfalz ) This 562-page book, all in German, documents the history of Jews in particular Pfalz towns, and in most cases, documents the names and birth/death dates of Jews buried in these cemeteries. It also writes about the history and state of the cemeteries in these towns (see below for a list). I do not speak German, but I could do lookups IF YOU KNOW THE NAME of the TOWN and if the town is in the book. There is no surname index in this book, unfortunately. I hope that people will feel free to pass this message on to other lists that may be interested in the contents of this book. I am not Jewish and not familiar with the Jewish genealogy sites and lists. TOWN NAMES COVERED IN THE BOOK: Altenbamberg Argenschwang Bad Kreuznach Barweiler Becherbach b. Kirn Bretzenheim Dorrebach Frei-Laubersheim Furfeld Guldental hennweiler Hochstatten Huffelsheim Hundesbach Kirn Langenlonsheim Mandel Meeddersheim Meisenheim Merxheim Planig Rummelsheim Schoneberg Schweppenhausen Seesbach Seibersbach Simmertal Sobernheim Staudernheim Tiefenthal Waldlaubersheim Wallhausen Weiler b.
