I have a reference from a 1650 Strassburg Neue Kirche baptismal record. It lists one of the baptismal sponsors as "Comes Palatinus Cesar: Med. D. & Pf." I am assuming that the sponsor was a pastor and medical doctor to the count, but I want to get the local church records to conform and obtain additional information. Does anyone know how I can find the "residence" of the Count Palatinate for 1650? I've checked various websites and my own library - and I'm still not certain of the location. Any help would be appreciated.
