You don't have to go to Ernstweiler to see the church records. They are probably available through the Family History Center. since you don't say what records you looked at I assume it is the Interantional Genealogical Index. If the source for your people begins with C, E, J, K or M etc. then the IGI entries are from extracted records. These extracted records are quite reliable as they have been made from microfilms of the church records. You can find the microfilm of the church records in the FHL catalog and order it. bob gillis
