Hello I have been observing on the sidelines for sometime and would like to make a comment. Most of the posting , which I have read, are asking questions specific to an individual ancestor. Very seldom do I see an answer to this type of question. Are there responses being sent to the individual rather than the list? I also see many questions as to the location of a village, what are addresses of Archives , etc. These questions are repeated time after time. The purchase of a basic German research book , a visit to any of the numerous Germany home pages , a visit to a local LDS library , or a search of the archives of this list would provide the requested information. I am searching the villages of Niederkirchen, Morbach , Hefersweiler , Heimkirchen and Wörsbach with an interest in the names GEIB, NEUBRECH(T) ,BACHER and GÖDTEL. I own books related to this area and will be happy to do look-ups if your ancestor was from these villages .(No "blind" lookups!) Please post any comments or questions to the list. Thanks John
