    3. Dear Listers, My husband's 2nd great-grandmother, Maria Magdalena SCHNEIDER was born in Bobenheim according to the christenings of her two daughters in the New York City Church books. I found a SCHNEIDER Family, who landed in New York City in 1842. The Father was named John and there were two older brothers, John and Jacob. Magdalena was twelve years old at the time, which was a good possibility that I had the right Family, since she was born about 1830. I would like to determine, if this was my husband's Family, so I can search for more information on the Family in New York City records. I have searched the Church Records around Bobenheim am Rhein for her christening, but I did not find what I thought might be her records. They were Protestant. Since she was born in 1830 the parish registers of Roxheim-Bobenheim are way too late. I searched Gross Niedesheim and also Worms. Have I left any records for that area, where someone's christening from Bobenheim might be recorded? At the present time I am waiting for films to arrive at my local Family History Center for Bobenheim am Berg. Hopefully, this will be my lucky films. The christening stated that she was from Bobenheim in Rhein-Bayern, so either Bobenheim fits the bill. Thanks. Karla --------------------------------- Looking for earth-friendly autos?
