I am new to this list and am most interested in the history of, and reasons for emigration from the Rheinland-Pfalz, with a more specific area of emigration to Galicia. I have traced my grandmother's lineage back to a German settlement in Galicia (Muzylowice) and further back to another settlement (Fehlbach). From there, I have found that the original settlers had come from the area around Sien, Kirchenbollenbach, Offenbach.
