Thanks for the help on Hasselwonder... It connects me to two families... Not only do I believe that Michael's son, George Michael, is my 3rd great grandfather, but Michael's wife is an aunt to Appolonia Lambertus who is my 4th great grandmother and also my 3rd great grandmother... Confusing??? Appolonia married Wilhelm Reinshagen (later Rhynesocker)... They had 8 children, oldest being Caroline... When Wilhelm died in 1868 (I believe that was the year) Appolonia married Michael Hazelwonder (b. 1812) in Calhoun County, IL... Appolonia had died before the July 8th, 1870 census... Michael then married Caroline, daughter of Wilhelm and Appolonia... So that is how Appolonia is my 3rd and 4th great grandmother... Anyway I just wanted to say thank you...
