If you have access to a Mormon >>Temple use their library. >> Judy and others, As I said above what I told is on line. The information that the LDS has is not at a Mormon Temple ( AFAIK there are very few of them) but is at a Family History Center which are located at LDS churches call I think Stakes. >> They have all on microfiche. >> Many Birth Baptism and marriage records especially in the Pfalz have been microfilmed. If what you have looked at are on fiche, then you have looked at the old IGI records. all of these fiche records have been entered into the LDS computer and are available on line. Back to Terry. You can look at the films of the original church records. Do a Place search in the FHL Catalogue find the films for the location where your Hasselwanders were from. The on line IGI has Eusserthal and Annwiler. After getting the film numbers go to your local FHC and order the films. Before ordering any films, search rootsweb.com and Google for Hasselwander. The only extracted IGI records are for Michael Hasselwanders marriage in 1781. There are no records for a Michael born 1812 nor is he in the 1880 Census. You need to do more research in US records to Your 1812 michael >> I found my >>family >>dating back to 1609 this way.
