    3. If anyone else on the list researching specifically in Zweibruchen and Althornbach? Over the years, I've been able to extract some information at LDS on these two areas. But I understand that many records were destroyed during the wars that historically occurred. What has been your experience trying to find data? I would be most interested in the exchange of ideas. The search has been very frustrating. For example, the founding relative in my Dietz family is Conrad Dietz. His obituary stated that he was born in Althornbach in July of 1711. What little I have been able to find at LDS does not confirm this. I do have a record of his confirmation in Zweibruchen. Unfortunately, there are several parental pairings that could belong to him. I need the baptism to ascertain his mother's name. This would be most helpful. Any ideas? I believe I've scoured every Zweibruchen record available through LDS. Many thanks in advance!
