As an addition to my earlier posting, I have the exact location of the record of Conrad's confirmation. I was contacted by two wonderful researchers, Al and Margaret Spiry, Sr., who felt the church where Conrad Dietz was confirmed was most likely the place of his baptism. So I am including the source of my information in hopes that someone out there might know of the place. The author of the information was : Evangelisch-Reformierte Kirche Hinterweidenthal (BA. Pirmasens). The title: Kirchenbuch 1713-1946. Conrad was born in 1711, just before this record begins. If I could find an earlier book, I might be able to wrap up his genealogy.
