Hi, I have recently started to research the surname HEBERLING. The Heberlings came from Impflingen-Insheim, Pfalz, Bayern. The first arrival in America that we know of is Johannes, his wife Anna Apollonia and their son Hans Peter Heberling. They came aboard the ship "Adventure" from Rotterdam on September 23,1732. Their other children followed in 1749 and 1750. We have a strong feeling that there were already family members in America before Johannes. Johannes was very quickly able to buy a substantial farm. We have one record mentioning a Jacob Heberling in 1709 in America. Any help, advice, direction or opinions would be gratefully accepted.
