First thing you should do is go to the Family History Library catalog at www.familysearch.org > browse and do a locality search or browse for Lettweiler. Probably the church records have been filmed and can be accessed through a Family History Center. The above is good for Kathy Davis for Annweiler. The church records may not be at the church but at a central archive and if you freind dies not speak German, he amy get nowhere.
