I am researching Eberle also. My great grandfather Matthew and my great grandmother Mary Josepha Thoma came from Germany (some say Bavaria area) via Switzerland to the US in 1868. A brother Frank and his wife came over with them. Just recently found the names of my great great grandfather and gggrandmother was Karrl Eberle and Katerina (don't know maiden name). This is as far back as I have been able to go. Matthew was born 1836 and died 1894. Mary Josepha Thoma born 1844 and died 1900. Would like to make a connection with someone if possible.
