Is anyone familiar with or have knowledge of Joes (Johann) Petri CANI and his wife Margaretha Catharina who were starting their family in KRIEGSHEIM (Griesheim, Griegsheim), Pfalz, Germany in 1737? KRIEGSHEIM is adjacent to MONSHEIM. LDS microfilm #957807 shows the birth record of apparently their first child, Maria Catharina, 18 September 1737. Joes Petri was my 5-great grandfather, and it is the first record I can find of this family. Problem: Where did Joes Petri CANI live before KRIEGSHEIM? Who were his parents?
