    3. Betty, Your query caught my eye because of the name VIEHL. I am researching Viel (various spellings of course): Johann Michael Viel from Mansbach (1780's -- ??), he married Charlotte Walch; their sons Rheinhard and August Viel from Borsch, Saxony (1800--1830's). August married Maria Anna Dauner, daughter of Phillip and Eleanor Amer Dauner . August came to the U.S. in 1837 first to PA, then near Cincinnati. I am interested in any Viehl info you have. Let me know if you think there may be a connection.
