Hi: Those of you with ancestors from the Kaiserslautern-Enkenbach-Hochspeyer area of the Pfalz may be interested in a book that I have just published. It is a genealogy of the Wellstein Family beginning with Antonious Wellstein (b ~ 1650) and his wife Anna Rosina ? in the Wetzlar area of Germany (Arborn). They had three children, two of which are documented, and the book includes descendants of these two (Bernhard and Melchior). Some people immigrated to the US, others went to Canada and Switzerland and many others stayed in Germany. The hard cover 400-page book has a complete index of names for each of the 908 individuals listed (women are indexed by both their married and born names) as well as 213 pictures of family members. Other major family names in the book include, Sprengart, and Kronenberger as these families intermarried consistently through the years.
