My 2 sisters, a cousin, and I, are traveling to Gimbsheim, 12 July, for 2 weeks to visit the area of our Kimmel ancestors. We have tried, in vain, to contact the town historian and other Gimbsheim residents. Anyone out there ever been to Gimbsheim ? We would appreciate any information or advice from all who have traveled in Germany. We are flying into Frankfurt and renting a car to drive to Gimbsheim.
