With respect to ongoing messages about German cookies, for us Midwesterners who are dealing with 18" of Mother Nature's finest, the long commutes into work etc. and Christmas shopping, might I suggest Lambertz cookies. They are made in Aachen, not as sweet as American cookies but distinctively European/German, by a baking company that's been around for ages. You might have to look around for them but I have seen them at Meijers stores and at Sam's Club. And to Nancy, thank you for sharing these with us.
