My GGGGrandfather George Haag b.1783 and his wife Anna Maria b. 1787 came to the US from Bavaria. Their naturalization papers indicated that they came from Pfälz, Bayern but no village named. They came over in 1833 and were farmers after they settled in Jennings County, IN. So they may have been farmers before and lived in the country. Searching "Family Search" I found: Georg HAAG married Anna Maria Barbara KOEHL on 20 August 1812 in Zweibrücken, Pfälz, Bayern. The time frame is right but I haven't been able to find anything further or any confirmation. Also, I never had his wife's maiden surname as a check other than her given name. I'm also told that she was from Baden. Can anyone help or give me some further direction. Thanks. Ken....CA
