I've been watching the list for some time and thought I would send my request. I am researching my ggggrandparents Heinrich (Henry) HANS and Catherine SCHEY. They immigrated to Albany, NY around 1850 from Marienthal near Rockenhausen. This area was then part of Bavaria. Heinrich's parents were Johanns Jacob HANS and Katherine Elizabetha KLEIN.
