    3. Ken, You next step is to go back to the FamilySearch website and look at the Family History Library catalog. By entering Zweibrücken in the place search you will find a large amount of resource material, because that is a large city. (Note: the FamilySearch FHL catalog search engine does not understand umlauts in the input field so use Zweibrucken instead.) You are looking for the actual wedding record, which will be found in both the church records and the civil records. You did not metion what religion they were. There were 4 different churches in Zweibrücken: Evangelisch-Reformierte, Evangelische, Katholische, and Eglise réformée, plus an Evangelische at the military compound. Your should also find them in the civil records. The wedding records will tell who their parents were and where they were from. In that era, after 1808, many church wedding records also included their birthdates, which will confirm they are the right people. Seek out your local LDS (Mormon) Family History Center and order the appropriate microfilms. >Date: Tue, 05 Dec 2000 13:25:09 -0800 >From: Ken Haag <admotus@earthlink.net> >To: PFALZ-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: [PFALZ] Haag from Zweibrücken > > My GGGGrandfather George Haag b.1783 and his wife Anna >Maria b. 1787 came to the US from Bavaria.
