IdaKay, you are on the right list. I could not find Klotzenburg on my map, but Altenglan is on the Glahn river and is now in the county of Kusel. It is on Autobahn 62 about 15km NW of Landstuhl. I would also reckon that your ancestors were Lutheran, but there is no guarantee, as there were Catholic enclaves in the Pfalz as well. David Eyre now in Mainz, Germany, the capitol of Rheinland-Pfalz deyre@gmx.de My genealogy can be found at this link http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=davideyre ----- Original Message ----- From: "IdaKay Orsted" <idakay@dcwis.com> To: <PFALZ-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, December 23, 2000 10:42 PM Subject: [PFALZ] Towns?? > Hi To All, > > Have been lurking & trying to learn, slow learner here. > > I have found after 30 + years of searching the name of the town in Germany where my G-g-grandfather came from. I would love to connect with a living family member in Germany but I know that is a VERY long shot at this time.
