I am Hunting for information on my great-great grandfather Heinrich Zapp he was married to Marie Elizabeth Kolter. My grandfather and great granfather (my namesakes) both named Peter were born in Morbach, Pfalz. Heinrich and Elizabeth had 10 children: Heinrich II, Christoph (Christian), Elizabeth, Johannes married to Dorothea Woll then to USA), Carl, Peter Married to Elisabetha Kissel (died 1899 in Morbach), Daniel, Christina (Married to Henrich II Schick then to USA), Barbara, and Adam. One of the brothers other than John and Christina came to the USA settling in Boston. Like to discover which one it was. I am hunting for birth, marriage and death dates for Heinrich, and information one his ancestors (Father supposedly named Christoph), and and descendents which remained in Germany. Would appreciate info on Frenger,Kissel,Hebel, Alspach and Godtel families. Elizbeth Godtel of Niederkirchen married Peter II Zapp (My grandfather) then to USA. Elizabeth's Parents Adam Godtel and Margaretha Hebel. I am also hunting for histories on the villages they came from, Morbach, Niederkirchen, Woersbach, Heimkirchen, Jettenbach, Erfenbach, Iggelheim, Kreimbach, Kaulbach, Hirschorn, Heligenmoschel, Thaleischweiler, Dielkirchen, Hollborn, and Holbornerhof. I found one for Wolfstein which I am currently attempting to interpret and index the names. Any information on finding any of the above would be greatly appreciated.
