    2. Nancy: I have the CD's Germans to America 1850-1888. Send me the names, ages and arrival date and I will check for you. Ann In a message dated 7/6/2006 12:58:13 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, jomello@hitechnetworks.net writes: Nancy & others: One of my Fried ancestors who was from Klingenmünster in the Pfalz, not too far from Pirmasen, landed in Port of New Orleans around 1855. I found that info in Germans to America books. However, I haven't found the port of entry for her two brothers who came earlier. I suspect New York, but I must admit I haven't worked on looking for them in NY port records. I also found my Swiss ancestor and many others from his village in the Germans to America books. For some reason for many years I never thought to look for Swiss emigrants in those books & just discovered this last year. Good luck with your research. 3. Ann, I saw the e-mail where you said that you had the Germans to America CD's. I would appreciate it if you would look up the name John Traut, Trauth, or Trouth, Trout and Anna Mary Zoffinger. Both immigrated in 1856 or 1857 from the Pfalz, probably from LeHavre.
