Before you or your cousins can do any searching on Davault BECK, you should do more research about him after his arrival in Philadelphia,\. Davault is not a German given name and and I suspect it is a variation that the recorders heard or he adopted after he was in America. What was his age in 1750, who was his wife and who were his children that came with him and their ages. Also wen relying to a very general subject like mine you should add the name and location of whom you are researching so that someone can find your message in the list archives. bob gillis
