I woudl check with one of the family research libraries associated with LDS. Yes many records did survive and many have been filmed for research by genealogists. Sorry that I cannot be of more help for most of mine are limited to Otterstadt, Waldsee, Harthausen, Schifferstadt and the Geinshiem/ Duttweiler area. http://www.familysearch.org When narrowing the search on this site, select Bayern for the Pfalz region. Can anyone comment as to the PLACES to do research in that area? What about the church records? Did they survive during WWII??? . . . . a note from Nell ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. ********* Information for list members: http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/intl/DEU/PFALZ.html ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PFALZ-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
