Hi there, I have been watching you for a few years! Trying to gleam a line on my family. I live the Washington State and have been looking into my family history, which only goes back to my grandfather. My father was raised in a children's home from the age of 3 and he knew nothing of his parents. If anyone has a line where I may find some information on the Petrie line coming to the US or Canada I would enjoy being pointed in that direction. GF Petrie must have traveled to the Pacific NW during the settlement of Oregon and Washington at the turn of the century. Same as with my mother's father (Bacon) and she also was raised in this same children's home....
