Hi Stephen & Karen, The William Petrie that Karen who sent this message is descended from is William Petrie, son of John Petrie and Margaret Leadingham, born 14th February 1974 at Craigton, Parish of Monikie. Other children of John Petrie and Margaret Leadingham are:- John Petrie, born 6 October 1866 David Petrie, born 28 March 1869 George Petrie, born 20 June 1871 Alexander Ramsay Petrie, born 23 September 1876 James Petrie, born 16 June 1879 Elizabeth Jane Forbes Petrie, born 7 February 1882 George Petrie, born 18 November 1887 I have marriage and death dates for some of the above, if you're interested. The Parents of John Petrie, ( grandparents to William) were John Petrie and Jane or Jean Forbes. I am still trying to find any links between the Forbes people who appear on both trees. This William Petrie is the same Petrie line as Hazel and ourselves - still looking for more connections!
