Hi David I see you're descended from George Petrie and Margaret Reid, so I guess you must be a close relative of June Porteous. June wants to get connected to the list so I'll drop off the instructions to her in the next few days. I'm descended from John Reid and Elizabeth Petrie, brother and sister married brother and sister, so we're connected through the Reids as well as the Petries. Your anscestor George was a witness at his little sister Elizabeth's wedding. It would be great to have more information about the family.
