Hi there I am looking for help tracing back members of the Petrie family from Kirkmichael, Perthshire in Scotland. Our line starts with John Petrie who married Jane Forbes. Their son, George Petrie married Margaret Reid. Their son, James Petrie married Susan MacDonald. Their son, Alexander Petrie married Elizabeth Marjory Low - they were my grandparents. I know there are members of the same family who use this website and I would love to hear from any of them. My father, Alexander Petrie, died when I was quite young and I know very little about my family.
