Hi Alistair I am still trying to find a lead back into Scotland for my g-grandfather William Petrie b. c1850 (he lived from 1873 in County Durham) supposedly Broughty Ferry but may be Monifieth. His father's name was also William Petrie. I noticed you have a William Petrie b. 1826 Monifieth, Angus in your tree. Do you by any chance know if he had any children that might link to my William Petrie.
