Hi Karen and Stephen I knew she ended up a Mrs. Shaw and had two daughters - as my Dad had told me but can you send through the 1881 info on her please? Thing is, all this has a domino effect doesn't it? It's hard to keep up!! On the Board of Health wedding pic, my dad named the woman sitting to the right of Helen Petrie (nee Marshall) as "J/Gemima" - my dad said "a friend of Bella's". That sounds a bit strange to me - was a friend of Bella's likely to be in the wedding pic? I wonder whether that is our Jemima Harris Petrie ........ David Grant Petrie is in the pic, so ............... I also have a pic with my Granny Brodie (older) standing with a Jemima Lawrence. My dad thought she was on the Brodie side and, yes, there was a Jemima Brodie but I'll try to get a copy of this photograph and see how you think it compares with this younger Jemima in the wedding group. It might be something to keep at the back of your mind, just in case. I also wondered why my Granny Brodie wasn't there in the wedding group but the family was living in Broughty Ferry at that time so it might not have been that easy for her to drag the young family there. Hi Heather Yes. We have thought - ever since we saw that wedding photo - that she was the G/Jemima. She does look like David .... I cannot find Catherine on the 1881 - neither of her daughters either. maybe they went to England? I shall try to fin time to search the wholw set of 1881 CDs - but not tonight!! We are on the case!
