Although I receive details from the PETRIE-SCOTLAND-L@rootsweb.com regularly, I have not used the site for any queries. My current Petrie family history has been uploaded to www.familysearch.com and is on the Mormon Pedigree Resource file number 76. Although I gave information concerning the question below on my Pedigree Resource file, another member has raised doubts concerning whether I am correct in my assumptions. My query is - does anyone know any details concerning the ancestors of John Petrie, who was born/baptised in Wester Connonsyth, Carmyllie, Forfar, Scotland on 6 February 1722 and who married Helen Duncan in Kirkden, Forfar, Scotland on 28 October 1748? harold_petrie@hotmail.com
