Hi all I came across the following Petries, in Fife, who are unknown to me the other day in the Scotlands people site does any one know who they are? On the death cert for Janet WILKIE nee WHITE, aged 47, widow of Thomas WILKIE at Downfield, Kettle on the Oct 27 th 1878, the informant was Robert PETRIE Nephew of Kettle. Who was he? Also Death index 1871 - 1881 Dunfermline 1879 CAIRNS ANN PETRIE F 83 DUNFERMLINE FIFE 424/00 0057 Anybody know who she was? Regards George N Henderson

Hello George Robert PETRIE is the son of William PETRIE and Margaret WHITE, married on 24 Nov 1848, at Dairsie, Fife, Scotland. William PETRIE is the son of John PETRIE and Isabella INGLIS, married on 26 Jan 1821, Kettle, Fife, Scotland. Margaret WHITE and Janet WILKIE (nee WHITE) are sisters.
