    3. Hi everyone I am rejoining the list after a long break, due to computer troubles and moving house twice. I now live in Cowra NSW and am here for the long haul. I am looking after my 95 year old dad> He is well but my research is restricted somewhat because he has a degree of dementia and is frail which means I have to help him quite a lot. Just returned from 3 weeks in Italy with him, he wanted to see his sisters once more, they are in their eighties. That is a story to write up for the 'tree'! I am still stuck on David Petrie aka Pedrie and his wife Betty who were the parents of my May, christened in Newburgh 12 April 1828 and married James Whyite/White in Strathmiglo 3 November 1850 and died in Molong Australia 31 January 1917. Good to be back on the list Bye for now Annette Pringle in Central West of NSW Australia

    3. Hi Annette, Just a wee note to say that i am too researching my family of Petries, but very slowly, although i am not researching the same line, i just thought you might be interested to know that i stay in the village of Strathmiglo that you have ancestors from. It is a very quiet little village. The village of Newburgh is also very close to us. There you go some very useless information for you. I always find it interesting though when someone mentions Strathmiglo in the e-mails.
