Hi, My Gt.Gt Grandmother, Isabel (aka Isabella) Petrie was born 13 May 1793 in Monikie; her sister Ann was baptised 11 May 1788 in Monifieth and her brother James was born 17 April 1790 in Monikie. Their parents were William Petrie and Jannet Watson who married 14 October 1786 in Monifieth. Jannet died 10 February 1794 in Monikie. William then married Jean (aka Agnes) Burns on 23 June 1794 in Panbride. Their first child, Agnes, was born 9 April 1795 in Monikie, followed by Barbara, William, Jean, John, George, Alexander and another Agnes, all born in Arbroath. I would love to find a Petrie relative Cheers, Elva > Hi Bruce, > I have some Petries who were in Monikie and also have a few who were > married into Stewarts.
