    3. Hello all I haven't had this problem with this list, but - since having my PC restored - there have been others that have had emails sent - by "the system" straight into the "Norton antispam" folder within Outlook Express. Yes, I use Norton as my anti virus software; so if others have this issue, open the Norton antispam folder to check the messages there. Any that you see that are NOT spam, can be amended for future mailings by my selecting the message, click the right mouse button, select the Norton antispam option and then click on "This is not spam". The message will then go to your inbox, as will all future ones from that address. I use BT as my ISP. They also have a spam filter, which - in my case - prevents hundreds of spams per day from coming into Outlook Express. If you have a feeling that emails are being sent and you are not receiving them, try looking in the spam folder on the web version of your email. I have spotted a few in the past. You can do a similar thing there to "train" the system!! Thanks to Norma for putting a note on the Petrie files that I uploaded years ago. If any of you do NOT have the Windows picture and Fax viewer, there are probably others that work just as well. Hope this helps! 3. Hi Stephen, Norma and all, I have BullGuard on mine - that's as far as I know! As I said in testing email, I had already saved the address coming into the junk but it was identical to the other address anyway so it must be something in the gogglegook. I saved your link, Norma, and that testing email of mine came through to inbox with no trouble BUT Paula's yesterday and today ones from Daisy, Gavin and George all came through into junk. I shall just resign myself to scooping them out of junk each day and hope for the best :-) Stephen ... hope Karen is well. Hope that your eyes continue to go well, likewise your job. I think that we may all be stimulated by Norma's return now :-) Bye for now Heather >From: "Stephen Baker" <baker.karanest@btopenworld.com> >Reply-To: petrie-scotland@rootsweb.com >To: <petrie-scotland@rootsweb.com> >Subject: Re: [PETRIE-SCOTLAND] Duplicate Mails & Missing Messages >fromourMailing List >Date: Sat, 30 Sep 2006 13:45:55 +0100 > >Hello all > >I haven't had this problem with this list, but - since having my PC >restored - there have been others that have had emails sent - by "the >system" straight into the "Norton antispam" folder within Outlook Express. >Yes, I use Norton as my anti virus software; so if others have this issue, >open the Norton antispam folder to check the messages there. > >Any that you see that are NOT spam, can be amended for future mailings by >my >selecting the message, click the right mouse button, select the Norton >antispam option and then click on "This is not spam". > >The message will then go to your inbox, as will all future ones from that >address. > >I use BT as my ISP.
