This John is the same generation as 'our' Alexander Petrie who married one Annie Robertson, Kirkmichael. Because we haven't gone beyond that, we've yet to prove that John and Alex are related. They must be .............. I'd like to think that they were brothers :-) Anyway, regardless of the lack of evidence there, we are all Strathardle/Kirkmichael Petries!
