I'm not exactly an orphan, I sort of know my family. I am looking for info and family of James PETRIE - born 1724 Forfar, Scotland. Married Margaret STALKER about 1759. Had the following children - John Petrie born 1760, married Jean HOGG. Thomas Petrie born about 1763. Janet Petrie, born about 1765, Hillhead, married John SKIRLING 1791 in Monikie. James Petrie, born about 1767, married Janet RAMAY 1803. Been a long time since I did anything on this line - might there be some relatives out there?
