Hi Thought I would post a few web-sites for those coming to the gathering. Places to visit in Dundee include the Royal Research Ship Discovery (this is it's centenary year) www.rrsdiscovery.com and the Industrial Museum, Verdant Works at www.verdant-works.co.uk Both these sites have links to The Old Steeple. Pictavia is just off the A90 near Brechin (NE of Dundee) www.pictavia.org.uk The Automobile Association has a web-site at www.theaa.com for anyone travelling by car and it has links to lots of useful information. And, finally, if anyone fancies treating themselves to a special meal while in the area I can recommend the Lands of Loyal in Alyth (5 miles from South Littleton). It's not cheap but well worth a visit on special occasions. We've been there twice for Sunday lunch and the food was WONDERFUL, my only complaint is that I couldn't decide what to have, it all sounded so good, they don't skimp on portions either.
