Hi Jim This ALEXANDER PETRIE was my 3 x great grandfather born 22 April 1757 at Marykirk to WILLIAM PETRIE and MARY BURNS. The known children are JOHN PETRIE born 5 July 1783 at Laurencekirk and it is through him I am descended. Catherine born 28 October 1784 at Brownhill, St Cyrus, Kincardineshire, and DAVID born 11 June 1786 at Wardrosston, Kincardineshire. There is no clue as to which generation the brother and sisters belong, although probably with only three children to Alexander, they are possibly his children. I left it in the list in case some other relation spotted it.
