Dear John, Unfortunately we cannot find any connection as yet! The Euphemia and David Petrie(sister and brother) who lived at "Graemeshall" were the children of David Petrie(Snr)and Ann Pottinger who together had ten children - Ann,Patrick,Euphemia,David,Archibald,Margaret,Janet,Barbara,Peter and Samuel born between 1783 and 1801. Maybe your Archibald could be a descendant of a brother of the David Petrie(Senior) generation? Makes life interesting doesn't it?
