Hi Patricia I am currently transcribing 1863 Petrie marriage certs. and have found this previously unknown daughter of your William Petrie & Ann Fiddes..... her address at this time ties in with a previous query you had made to me, on Margaret Petrie of Easter Mulloch...... and as I understand it, the address East Mulloch, Parish of Durris may have a connection with Gillian Fox's Petrie line ?? Would be most interested to hear if this helps prove a connection between you both .... I wonder who the father of Wm Cochrane Turner Fraser (b 30 June 1871) and Lexy Cochran Turner (b. 3 feb 1874) to Elizabeth Turner was? Also in the 1881 census I found Ann FRASER 18 b.Durris, Kincardine, Scotland Occ: General Serv (Domestic) living at Echt, Aberdeen, Scotland with the MOWAT family and Maggie A Fraser a Dom Serv living at 78 Waterloo Quay, Aberdeen St Nicholas, Aberdeen, Scotland but she was born, Gamrie, Banff, Scotland. I think this Margaret dau of Ann Petrie. NOTE: Ann Petrie's brother Arthur married Margaret MOWAT. Sorry to go on about all this. My next step is to find Ann Petrie Fraser's death between 8 Sep 1871 and 28 Nov 1874.
