Hi Gang, Well things are getting busy here, and I am working through my own research information to take to the Gathering..... Public response has been wonderful and the phone has been ringing constantly ever since. So it looks like the idea to invite the Petrie public to our Gathering is going to prove very fruitful.... and I am sure they will enjoy the many family displays our attending members will be creating.... Unfortunately I had a poor response to our offer for those "not attending" to send on their Petrie family info for display, with only 5 family reports received.... they will of course be posted in a prominent position at the Gathering. However I have just had word from Murray Nicoll that he has 7 vertical display boards which he can lend us, so as a last minute offer....I'd be happy to post 1 x A4 sheet of Petrie family information on the boards for anyone not attending the Gathering. Please give it a bold Headline (ie. William Petrie born Creiff 1888 or Petrie's of Perthshire etc) with a list thereafter of the family information you wish show .... (if you have the facility try to highlight all names on the sheet in Bold type.....) do remember to include submitters Name & Address, and any other contact details you wish at the bottom.
