I've sent Karen and Stephen a copy of a very old map which covers the northern end of Strathardle - if you take a look at that, Norma and Hazel, you'll know what "confusing" means!! I am still confused as to what modern-day croft (if any) is actually "Brae of Dounie" because this map is the only one that I have found it marked on.
