I was looking over your details trying to make a match with information in the Petrie-Scotland database... I wonder if you know your Grandmother's name and maiden name (James Alexander Petrie's spouse) ?? I noticed the unusual forenames of their children (well unusual amongst Petrie's) and wonder if Brodie was your father James Brodie Petrie ?? If so was Birrell the full name for this child ?? I am assuming Birrell was male but perhaps you could confirm this !! :o) Any chance you know or can find out who your Great Grandparents were ??
