Hi gang Welcome to all our new members. I am sure that we have some new people and old just lurking so I'd thought I'd post my interests again. My great grandfather John Petrie came from the island of South Ronaldsay in the Orkney Islands, born August 11, 1845. He moved to the Niagara area, Ontario, Canada sometime between 1871 & 1874. I have a database of over 1000 Petrie's from the Orkney Islands. If your family is from either the islands or Caithness please let me know. Janine
