Thank you Murray for that information. Mary Williamson, widow of David, is the oldest that I have found on my tree, down through Thomas. I think there should have been another son, James born 1804. Would you have any more information in your old papers :o) I have been at a dead-end for ages. In reference to the 'The Muster Roll of Angus' film, I have had a read of it at my FHC and it is a great read. I may have a connection in it but possibly impossible to prove. I am going to write to the CD_Book people to see if they can copy it. It contains hundreds of photos.
