Elizabeth Skinner was a son of James Petrie m. Mary Wallace who was a son of William Petrie m. Janet Buck in 1790. Your David Petrie m. Helen Dalrymple was also a son of this couple. It is a pity you could not be at the Gathering we could have blethered all day. I went to Bankton Park and four Petries still live there, Elizabeth Petrie is 80 years old and is the daughter of Sim (Sime) Petrie. His father was a David Petrie, not sure which one yet.
