As Carol Petrie says, I am descended from Charles Petrie who was born 25 June 1838 at Kennethmont, he was married on the 1 Dec 1860 at Drumblade to Isabella FARQUHARSON, they later moved to Towleys, Leslie, Aberdeenshire, they had a total of nine children, one of whom was my grandmother Ann (Annie) PETRIE, b 6th April 1868. Charles PETRIE died 3 Jan 1910, and Isabella 5 Dec 1928 at Kintore, both are buried at Leslie. Ann Moved to Edinburgh where she married Henry NEILSON on the 4 June 1897 at Colinton, Midlothian, my mother Isabella Petrie Neilson was born on the 6th Dec 1906, she married William Wilkie HENDERSON at Edinburgh on the 12 June 1931.
